Capitalization, dates, with year
Capitalization: Names of months are always capitalized.
Dates: When used with a specific date, abbreviate only Jan., Feb., Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov., and Dec. John was born on Aug. 29. Kiki will graduate on June 16.
With year: Spell out when used alone or with only a year. When using a month and year only, do not use a comma between the two. January 2000 was a great month.
