Spelling out, figures, with verbs
Spelling out: Spell out fractions of a whole in text and use hyphens. Use numerals to express more complicated fractions (such as compound fractions). Connect the whole number and its fraction with a hyphen. Fractions expressed in decimal form are sometimes the clearest and simplest format. one-third.
